This policy describes how Liasse collects, uses, and protects information when you participate in our SMS messaging program (the "Program") as part of the Liasse phone-call website-building consultation service, and when you use the Liasse Restaurants mobile app (see the dedicated section below).
Information We Collect
- The phone number from which you called or texted
- Information you provide in your SMS replies (name and email address)
- Audio and transcript of your call describing the website project you want built
- Date, time, and content of messages exchanged with our service
How We Use Your Information
- Send you the secure magic link required to generate and access your website
- Respond to support inquiries you initiate
- Improve the accuracy and reliability of our consultation service
No Marketing Use
Information collected through this Program is used solely to deliver the website-build experience you requested. We do not use your information for advertising, marketing, or promotional messaging.
Sharing With Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We use the following service providers strictly to operate the service, and they process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality terms:
- Twilio — SMS delivery and phone call routing
- SendGrid — email delivery of the magic link
- Google — AI processing of the call transcript to produce your website brief
- Cloudflare — network routing and bot-protection
- Cloudinary — storage and delivery of the images used on sites built with Liasse
- PayPal — payment processing for orders and subscription renewals; PayPal receives the payment details you provide to it directly, and we do not store your full payment credentials
If you book a call with us — for example under our satisfaction guarantee — the scheduling details you provide (name, phone number, and the time you choose) are shared with the Liasse booking service so we can manage the appointment.
Information will not be shared with any other third parties or used for purposes outside the Program without your explicit consent, except as required by law.
Data Retention
- Phone-intake records (transcript, call metadata) are retained for 90 days, after which they are deleted
- Account-related data (email, name, generated website) is retained for as long as your account is active; deleted on request
- SMS opt-out records are retained indefinitely to honor your preference
Your Rights
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing [email protected]
- Opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message from us
- Request help by replying HELP or emailing [email protected]
Security
We use industry-standard security measures (TLS in transit, encrypted storage at rest) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Liasse Restaurants Mobile App
The Liasse Restaurants Android app is an owner control center for restaurants using Liasse. It is a secure wrapper around your live Liasse dashboard at restaurants.liasse.tech and is intended for restaurant owners and staff, not the general public. All communication with our servers uses HTTPS. In connection with the app we process:
- Push notification token — a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device token is registered with our servers so we can deliver new-order alerts to your device. It is used only to send these alerts and is not shared for advertising.
- Order information — when an order is placed, details such as the order number, type, table number, customer name, and total are delivered to the app for display so you can act on the order. This data is shown on-device and is not stored by the app itself beyond what is needed to display the alert.
- Microphone audio — if you use the in-app voice assistant, your microphone is accessed to capture what you say. Audio is used only to operate the voice feature in the moment and is not recorded or stored by the app.
- Sign-in credentials — you authenticate with your existing Liasse restaurant owner credentials; the app does not create a separate account.
We use Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications. We do not sell or share app data with third parties for their own marketing. To request access to or deletion of data associated with your restaurant account, email [email protected].
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via the Liasse service before they take effect.
